Congress.gov

byAPI3Premium Sponsored?Fees are sponsored by AirnodeHub during the early accessAirnode v0.2.0

Congress.gov is the official record of the United States Congress, published by the Library of Congress. This Airnode serves its bills and resolutions with their actions, cosponsors, subjects and summaries, the laws they became, amendments, members, House roll call votes, nominations, committees and their meetings, and Congressional Research Service reports, so a consumer receives the answer with a signature saying this Airnode obtained it from Congress.gov at this time. Most operations take a Congress number, which `getCurrentCongress` gives. A `url` field in a response is a link into the provider's own API, which takes its own credentials, and the fields beside it hold the identifiers that reach the same record through these operations.

Every response carries an EIP-191 signature from the Airnode that served it, so the data can be attributed back to its source rather than trusted on reputation.

Interface

Served at https://airnode-congressgov.fly.dev/. Each operation is reached the way the provider documents it, under https://airnode-congressgov.fly.dev/api, and answers with the provider's own response and the attestation in headers, so a client built against the provider works unchanged. The same operations are also served as one JSON envelope on POST /, which the HTTP interface covers. Every request below can be sent from this page, and what comes back is verified right here in the browser.

GET /

Returns the machine-readable documentation this page is rendered from. Free, and everything an agent needs.

ANY /api/…

The provider's own requests, one per operation, forwarded as they are. The provider's response comes back untouched, with the attestation in the X-Airnode headers.

Verify the response

Paste a response to verify it originates from the current Airnode: the JSON a POST / answers with, or a passthrough response with its headers, as curl --include prints it.
