Twelve Data sells market data across every asset class from one interface: shares, funds, indices, currency pairs and crypto pairs, all spelled the same way and all answering the same operations. This Airnode wraps the reference, price, corporate action, fundamental and technical indicator side of it.

Three kinds of claim come out of it, and they are worth telling apart before an attestation over one is relied on.

Settled facts stop changing once they exist: a closing price, a paid dividend, a completed split, a filed statement, a reported quarter. Two Airnodes asked afterwards agree, so those attestations compose and aggregate.

Live readings do not. A quote, a price, an exchange rate, a market mover ranking and anything computed from them are true for the instant they were taken, and an attestation over one is provenance for that instant rather than a fact anyone else will reproduce.

Computed values are the third kind. Every technical indicator here is calculated by Twelve Data over the bars timeSeries returns, so what a signature attests is that Twelve Data computed that value from that series then, not that the calculation is right. A consumer holding both attestations can check one against the other, which is the point of serving them side by side.

Twelve Data's real-time streaming, its mutual fund and bond products and the rest of its hundred-odd technical indicators are not among the operations this Airnode serves.

Every response carries an EIP-191 signature from the Airnode that served it, so the data can be attributed back to its source rather than trusted on reputation.
